Today I, unfortunately, noticed I was beginning to get a cold sore. Throughout the day it worsened and I am in a predicament because school starts on Tuesday!! That leaves me one full day to minimize my cold sore so it doesn’t get all big and ugly like it usually does. If anyone has some tips to help lessen the agony, please share!!
Oh, and I’ve tried Abreva before, but usually that makes it worse before it gets better. Some home remedies perhaps?

Well, I recently discovered something terrible that causes me to be worried about my health.
About three months ago I dated a man, whom although it was unknown to me, broke out in cold sores. Well we French kissed often, although he never had a cold sore when we kissed. We broke up in May.
Now on Saturday I had discovered that the man I’m currently dating, whom is also my ex’s friend had shared a drink with my ex while he was having a cold sore.
After a couple days of sharing the drink, the man I’m currently dating, and myself had several Frnech kisses again.
Now, I know this is quite a complicated mess but I’ve never had a cold sore before, and neither has any of my family.
So, I was just wondering, what’s the chances of me having a cold sore, and getting the virus?

My 11 year occasionally gets a fever blister on the outside of his mouth. Looks horrible, have taken him to the doctor before and he gave me a prescription for some cream. Is there anything over the counter that works just as well, but is more gentle on my pockets?

I recently had cold sores and have been paranoid touching everything. I had a plastic container that I brought to school with me a week ago when I had outbreak. It is now Thur, and I just put almonds in there to bring back home to use to bake for my class. I do not want to give my class cold sores…. is there a chance that the virus lived in the airtight plastic container for 4 days?
