I have an AWFUL cold sore coming in on my bottom lip. I can feel it getting bigger by the minute! Does anyone know of anything that the average person has around the house that will dry it up and get rid of it?

I do not have any tea tree oil here, so I need something else…..

I have developed not one but TWO cold sores yuck! That Abreva stuff don’t help much, I usually just use Carmex but it takes a long time to go away. And they are painful! Any natural remedies or advice would be so appreciated!

I woke up today with a tiny blister on my lip near the corner of my mouth. It is really small, it’s only maybe a millimeter or so. It almost looked like a pimple at first but when I got a closer look at it, it looked more like a blister cause of the color and stuff. It looked like a bubble instead of a white or blackhead.
Anywho, I was wondering if any of you all have simple remedies to keep this thing from getting bigger and to make it go away fast!!

I got my first cold sore today (I think) and was wondering if anyone had any remedies to get rid of it. I also am taking some allergy medicines and was thinking that it might be an allergic reaction to one of those and isn’t a cold sore, but hives. My girlfriend has never had a cold sore, and no one I’m around has cold sores, so I’m a little confused by it… Either way, I stopped taking the medicine, and will just treat it as if it’s a cold sore. Any good remedies to get rid of it if it is a cold sore??

I heard ice is a good remedy for cold sores but wouldn’t that spread them? I mean considering they’re reeeeaaally contagious, wouldn’t it spread when the ice melted? Any other remedies that really worked for anyone without it hurting?
