when i was younger i used to get them on my lips and i would use like blistex or lip chap or whatevs and it would heal up pretty good.
now i have one on the inside of my lip so i cant put like blistex or anything on it and its driving me crazy lol.
i’ve been swishing around salt water a few times a day i dunno if it’ll help or not. are there any other ways to get rid of it?
its inside my mouth i cant really use any lip stuff
I get a couple cold sores a year from being in the sun too long. They are only on my lower lip, and are very painfull and I feel ugly while they are present. Does anyone have a homegrown or inexpensive tip?

my current remedy is "overmedicate"
whenever i went to get a new peircing my piercer always told me to never over medicate. but for cold sores i took the opposite approach. I found that rubbing Blistex Lip Medex on the cold sore along with the entire lip several times a day (actually several times every hour because i am crazy lol) and or using medicated chap stick multiple times daily would reduce the heal time of my cold sore to about 3 days or so. but today I was on my way to school and i felt one. but when i looked in the mirror 20 minutes later i saw 3 coming on! 3 ON MY BOTTOM LIP!!!! THATS JUST INSANE! so i went with my remedy but i am concerned now. I dont know how it happened i mean i was fine when i left the house. i didnt touch my mouth or anything. only thing to touch my lips was coffee from dunkin donuts (which btw wasnt too great) see normally i wouldnt care. i would shrug the cold sore off and be like "meh its close to the weekend it will be fine by monday" but tuesday, is my 21st birthday. and on the 20th i am getting my first tattoo and going out to celebrate my birthday. I dont want my entire bottom to look as if i have been zombified.
so any helpful adivce? things i can do at home that wont require me to spend 30 bucks for special creams or a doctors perscription?

i had a orajel cold sore remedy brush at some point but cant find it! v.v…..
Any recommendations on over the counter treatment for cold sores?
Preferably something natural, maybe something I can knock together myself?

i don’t have any cold sore medication yet but i just want to know what to use to make it go away over night or in a day or to anything like a teabag or any home remedies please i have a halloween party!
