I am 31 yrs old & when i was 8 yrs old i first got oral herpes from the school playgrounds, just bad hygiene when we are kids, i did not get them again until i was 23 & now that i am 31 i recently got one but it healed. Basically i get one every 8-15 years very rare. I recently kissed my friend will i pass it on to him?
I know it sounds like a stupid question, but can it? I’ve got a new FWB and hes got a cold sore, we were planning on meeting tonight, but i dont want to get herpes. LOL.

I recently got this cold sore that i treated for 2 days with zovrax. However after 2 days i completely forgot about it an went down on my boyfriend. It was only for 5 seconds or so before i realized. I dont think it really touched anything as it is on the top of my upper lip. Is it possible i have given him herpes. PLease help me. I feel sick to my stomach.

I’m worried that I’ll contract if from my cold sore, afraid to even use the bathroom because of it, I don’t touch it often and if/when I do, I don’t touch anything else for a while.
I’ve been dating this guy for awhile he’s really nice, but just recently I noticed he had a cut on his lip. I asked him if he cut himself shaving and he said no that it was a cold sore! I creeped out because cold sore is just another name for herpes and I didn’t want to kiss him anymore after that moment. He said its the first one he’s had in a few years but I can’t get it out of my head.
I feel guilty not wanting to kiss him now.

I am only 16 and am really annoyed as to how I have oral herpes considering I have engaged in no sexual acts with another person in all my life. Please help, oral herpes is touch enough, the last thing I want is blisters on my balls!
