I have a fairly large cold sore, that I NEED to get rid of in the week. Are there any ways besides Abreva (im using it) to make it go away?

I read that nail polish remover cures cold sores rather quick, so I applied it a few times, the first time for two minutes holding the q-tip on my upper lip. Then I read I had to drain it out, then apply NPR to the sore. It didn’t do much of a transformation, the sore is still there, and my lip plumped up a bit more too. How can I get rid of this cold sore soon, and my big lip? Whats the best treatment out there?
i was sick all week with a swollen glands, sore throat, nasal congestion, lung congestion, and then i got a fever. i did not go to a dr.
the fever is gone. now i have fever blisters on the roof of my mouth and only one of my glands is mildly enlarged.
i was reading that fever blisters can be on your lips and the roof of the mouth, so im pretty sure that they are fever blisters as i just had a high fever.
now that i am feeling better i feel like it would be wasteful for me to go to the dr.
but im concerned because i never had fever blisters before.
will my fever blisters go away on their own? is there an OTC treatment for fever blisters INSIDE THE MOUTH. they really hurt. im kind of worried, will they heal properly? will they get bigger and bigger? how long do they take to heal?

I have this cold sore that just keeps coming back. It will stay for like a week then go away for like a month and come back again. Is there anyway to get rid of it before christmas? Please help.
I recently got a fever blister on my lip. It is starting to scab but still contains puss… i am curious.. i think i touched the scab then my right eye… Is there a way i know if i have ocular herpes. And what is the treatment. Please help.

I started to get a cold sore yesterday and it’s just two blisters on my bottom lip but I’ve had bad experiences with cold sores going insane and I want to know if anyone knows a way to get rid of a cold sore in less than 2 days (or at least make it really really small). I’m going to a banquet/reception on Saturday and I REALLY want to get rid of this thing before then.
I’m currently putting Zovirax on it, which tends to work, but if anyone knows a better way, I really appreciate it.
well i have a really important meeting tomarrow and need to get rid of it because i need pictures taken.
I am a healthy person. One night I was eating plenty of hershey kisses and I noticed later I began to have a fever and blisters developed in my throat. I’ve taken medication and rested a lot. The fever has gone but the blisters are still there. I can’t talk, eat, or drink. What is the best treatment for this?
I am about to go to college as a freshman in a week, and I woke up this morning, look in the mirror and….NOO! Its a big ol cold sore. I havent had one of these in over a year, and right before college I get one.
I would really appreciate any advice on how to get rid of this thing, whether it be from personal experience or links.
