I woke up today and the cold sore spread to another side of my lip, not really big but I want to get rid of it as soon as possible.. is there anything I can do that doesn’t involve medicine?

i got this really big cold sore a few days ago i told my parents and they said it was okay because its winter. Then i got some advice that if i put toothpaste and salt it would go away i tried it and all seemed to do was make it go down a little. i wonder if i did it right?
I picked my lower lip (a nervous habit) and now there is a small white bump that looks like some kind of herpes outbreak, I know that it isn’t herpes because I’ve only been with one guy and we’re both faithful.. and this bump didn’t appear all of a sudden, it became very irritated after one night of obsessive picking.
I’ve already vowed to never pick again Lol, so my question to you guys is what is the best way to help this infection heal? I’ve bought a drying agent type ointment called Campho-Phenique which I’ve been using throughout the day, it’s intended for fever blisters/cold sores so I’m not sure if I should continue to use it or not. Any help would be appreciated as I do not want my co-workers thinkin’ that I "get around" lol. Thanks so much!
my mom has had a cold sore for a couple days and i guess i drank out of something after her. so now i have one developing.
how can i get rid of it over night? because i NEED it gone for tomorrow!
also, can i cover it up with makeup or will it infect it more?
ive tried the toothpaste & salt and nail polish remover.
its also not sensitive really at all. on websites people said all these things would sting but i have felt nothing haha. thankss !
he has what looks like a fever blister where his gum and inner lip connect in his mouth he is 7 and i have never seen one inside the mouth . i have nexcare cold sore treatment but i no longer have the directions box it came in do you know if this is safe inside the mouth ?
I cant afford to go to the doctor but I have a really bad case of cold sores and blisters on my lips. I was told to keep it dry so I have been. I dunk my lips in Hydrogen Peroxide and let them dry up as much as possible. Is this the best I can do for now? Is what i’m doing even right? I have a bunch on very tiny blisters on the corners of my mouth/lips and near the same area around. How long does this normally last. (The itching, burning, pain) Any info on this condition and treatment (not a doctor) would be greatly appreciated.
Also the Hydro Peroxide makes my lips foam like crazy and I feel the pain deep inside my lips. What should I make of this?
So tomorrow is my first day of school in a new school and I have a huge cold sore on my lip Well i really don’t want to look gross on the first day so I need a home remedy that will get rid of it in like 20 hours

Someone told me at work about Charcoal capsules at work to get rid of stomach virus (puking and pooping) well I thought Virus is a virus right? Well had a nasty fever blister on my lip and thought of this, so took 4 of them ( can’t take within 2 hours before of after meds as it will kill them also, btw, took all my meds two hours after) well got up this morning and it was totally gone, unbelievable. I just can’t get over this it was living large yesterday and now smooth as if had never been there. Only took the charcoal once. This is blowing my mind. Has anyone ever tried this?
To the nurse, I didn’t say it would never come back. I tried this once before with the same results. Whether or not it is coincidental or not , I’ll take a fast recovery anyway I can get it. Thanks anyhow
ive had cold sores for about 2 1/2 weeks now! it started out as 1 in the corner of my mouth and then spread to different parts of my lips. ive used everything from various medicated lip balms to abreva and although the combination of things helped a little it wont go away. the main portion of my lips is looking better but the corners are still ugly and scabby…plus its still tingling/burning/itching everywhere.
how can i get rid of this completely? my boyfriend is coming back in town in a few days and i dont want him to see me like this. plus im sick of dealing with all the strange looks from everyone. it hurts, its ugly, and i want it GONE! are there any good remedies or should i go to my doctor? please help!
