Same just a different version….Herpies has versions:

Herpes is an infection that is caused by a herpes simplex virus (HSV). Oral herpes causes cold sores around the mouth or face. Genital herpes affects the genitals, buttocks or anal area. Genital herpes is a sexually transmitted disease (STD). You can get it from having sex, even oral sex. The virus can spread even when sores are not present. Mothers can also infect their babies during childbirth.

a cold sore is a TYPE of herpies not the STD that evryone asociates it with

if you get a cold sore from your mouth on your downstairs area then it could transfer to herpes. they are both herpes however different strains. but you can transfer it. don’t ever let the two areas mix when cold sore is near.

yes it is actually called herpes simplex c however it is not a std it is something everyone gets

its not the same thing at all…. cold sores are from viruses.

No a cold sore is not the same as herpes but they are in the same area of medicine
