I have been to the Doctor twice and he has been treating it as cold sores but nothing is working. The rash goes about a half an inch above and below my upper and lower lips. My lips are dry and painful. Lip balms relieve the the dryness and I put vasiline on them at night. the dr first prescribed Alebra….and after 10 days valtrex….nothing is working. Any suggestions?
I’ve had them my hole life, and i remain to keep of getting them. The Dr. has told me and my mom that i will have it until i get older, and i’m older. He says it’s a type of herpies. HPI-1 or something like that.
I got it earlier this year and it left a scar, and i’m scared of it this time.
